The management of general chemicals in Taiwan is governed by the Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Control Act (TCCSCA) administered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) administered by the Ministry of Labor (MOL). It is required to register new chemical substances when manufacturing or importing more than 100 kg per year. The first version of the TCSI came into effect on January 1, 2015 and an added version of that containing additional new chemicals came into effect on September 8, 2015.

*Pharos only includes chemicals with CAS, substances without CAS are selected and manually assigned CAS if available.
