Can I import a list of chemicals in a spreadsheet to compare?
Yes. Open the comparison and click the “Add from file…” button.
Can another user edit a comparison I have created?
Yes. By default, other users can edit comparisons you share with them. To restrict access, click the “Read-only” box at the bottom of the comparison edit popup.
Which hazards are displayed for a chemical comparison?
All substances are screened using the GreenScreen List Translator™, but only a relatively small number have a public GreenScreen® Assessment™. If there is a public GreenScreen Assessment for this substance, the Assessment hazards are displayed. If there is not a public GreenScreen Assessment, list hazards are displayed.
These include all lists used by the GreenScreen List Translator, plus a few additional hazard lists and additional endpoints included in Pharos. To show only the GreenScreen hazards, click “All Hazards View” and select “GreenScreen Hazards Only”.
Are the hazards updated after I make the comparison?
Yes. When we update the hazards of a chemical, these changes will be automatically reflected in your comparison every night. You can view a log of the changes by clicking “View all updates”
How are comparisons shared?
Comparisons are private by default, only viewable by you. You can share with specific users or make the comparison public for anyone in Pharos by clicking the Edit Comparison icon.
Can I share with people who are not subscribed to Pharos?
You can invite people not yet subscribed by clicking share and entering their email address. They will be sent an invite to register for Pharos, and, once subscribed, will then have access to your comparison. If you are sharing with someone within your organization, you may wish to consider upgrading your own account to a multi-user subscription. Alternatively, you can download your comparison to a spreadsheet to share the results with colleagues offline.
How many chemicals and comparisons can I have?
Subscribers can make up to 50 comparisons with 500 chemicals each.
