ECHA - Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP)
ECHA - Substance Evaluation Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP)
The Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) is a dynamic list managed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in collaboration with Member States, designed to evaluate substances for potential risks to human health or the environment. Substances included in the CoRAP have not yet undergone evaluation, so the concerns are preliminary and not conclusive. The selection criteria for the list encompass hazard information such as potential persistency, bioaccumulation, and toxicity (PBT); endocrine disruption; and carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, and toxicity to reproduction (CMR). Exposure information, including usage and total registered volumes, is also considered. Substances are included in the CoRAP when further information might help clarify initial concerns. The evaluation may conclude that existing measures adequately control the risks. If a substance is found to pose a risk, it could lead to follow-up actions such as proposals for EU-wide risk management measures. These measures may include harmonized classification and labeling, identification as a substance of very high concern (SVHC), restrictions, or other actions beyond REACH (eg proposals for EU-wide occupational exposure limits, national measures, or voluntary industry actions).
