Polyvinyl acetate adhesives, abbreviated as PVA, are common water-based adhesives often used to join wooden or paper materials. PVA adhesives are rated as Type I, Type II or Type III depending on their bond strength. This CP describes a PVA adhesive as commonly used to bond wooden components intended for interior use. This type of adhesive could be considered Type I or Type II.
